:O!!

I've had this on loop for HOURS.
It's very mellow and sounds great, very relaxing stuff.
Found it through Vinnie Veritas' (Kite-Ride) flash, Gravitaxis++
Again, awesome job on this!

:O!!

She didn't even comment on it.
Wicked bitch of the east indeed.
That being said, it feels a little powerful for an ambient track.
I've always imagined ambient music to be that kind of soft background music you hear during interludes, between missions in a game or something.
Maybe I'm wrong.
This sounds good, all the same. I don't really hear the HaFaX in this though.
Maybe I haven't listened to enough of her work...?

DJ-Delinquent responds:

this isnt Ambient

its Full on Rap/Hip Hop

but she doesn't want to admit it

:O!!

This sounds a bit like something they'd use for title screen of a Tales series installment. Great job on this!
I've had this on loop for nearly an hour now while I draw, it sounds wonderful and is really motivating...!

Hahaha

You know, if you ignore the fact that this song was written with RPG world maps in mind, it sounds like an extended version of those catchy tunes you hear at the beginning of news broadcasts.
Pretty good stuff! The beat is a little intense for a world map though. Maybe this suits more a light-hearted confrontation? Like the first tutorial fight of a game, or a small skirmish a-la-small-troupe-of-soldiers-versus-
wild-wolves.
This is solid though, all the same!
Very professionnal stuff, I'm impressed...!

Trip down memory lane

Hahaha man, I remember when I first finished the game, I fell in love with that track, looked everywhere for it and was so dissappointed at how short it actually was. It's a very powerful piece and you do it justice. The extension sounds very natural and just blends in perfectly with the original score.
So, kudos! It's a shame we can't really make out the lyrics. Either that or the fact that I know nothing of latin makes it impossible for me to make out what you're saying. All the same, more power to you!
Keep making these, you're brilliant and you've got a terrific voice.

VGSongbird responds:

lol I'm always so cautious to make any lyrics in English, because I don't want to betray the game in some way. But I am getting more and more requests to do things in English, so I may just do one in the future!

Thanks for listening :D

Just...wow.

This song is just amazing, the flow is very natural and this just oozes professionalism and know-how, it's not the kind of music you hear every day and it's hard to believe that you're the one who's created this from scratch. It's mind blowing.
I won't lie to you: I'm in love.
Not with you, because it would most likely be one sided and I know next-to-nothing about you, but I AM head over heels for your music. I swear to God I have every - single - track - you've ever made downloaded and listen to them on loop as often as I can, whenever I can.
Your work is an inspiration, the fuel to my aspirations and nothing short of genius, regardless of wether or not they happen to be fanpieces. So, whatever you do, I BEG you as a rabid-near-stalker fan, do NOT stop making music.
Please.
All my votes are belong to your work.

P.S. Sorry for sounding like a creeper. <3

NemesisTheory responds:

you're awesome!

thank you for your amazing support and totally kind words!
and don't worry i'm not stopping anytime soon <3

<cringe>

You seem to have accidentally hit an extra note around 1:00, it just really hit me for some reason, but that's the only quirk I could find in this. The build up is nice, the piano sounds vibrant and full of emotion. I like :D I may end up listening to this on loop while ripping my hair out trying to nitpick at plot holes.

GameBoyFireworks responds:

Perhaps the extra note wasn't extra at all... perhaps it emotion that you can't handle... Or perhaps this is me trying to compensate for a blunder. You'll never know. ;)

huh...

"Made for an RPG that has never been completed."

I'm seeing this kind of comment with alarming frequency on music piece descriptions lately...
Guess Flash artists aren't quite as motivated as audio ones...
The heartbeat gets a little invasive and annoying after a while, I would suggest fading it out after a minute or so...
Other than that, good track.

Pretty sweet stuff

I'd comment on all of your songs, but the thought of having to leave lines on each and every piece of yours that I've enjoyed is rather discouraging, so I'll just sum it up in your most recent original work(at least, to my knowledge).
While I have to be perfectly honest and admit that I don't think I'd get along well with you as a person (you leave odd replies to those who comment on your stuff...), I'm definitely on par with you as far as music is concerned.
I'm working on what I consider to be one of my bigger projects as of late, and having a handful of your songs on loop is definitely giving me the drive I need.
The hurried rhythm, the sense of urgency, the pressure of impending confrontation...
Music that demands not action, but reaction.
Hit fast, strike hard and live strong.

Basically, keep up the good work, you've definitely got something good going here.

ChaosDragon004 responds:

Well let me make this respons as normal as I can. Your honesty with me even though some would probably not know how to take it, leads me to think of someone who is pretty cool. I envy people that can be that upfront with others seeing how im completely the opposite lol. While we may not get along, your oppinion of my songs will be more than respected. Thanks, again and I'll be sure to check out your songs.

Pretty inspiring stuff!

I'm loving the heroic feel to it, the sense of urgency you get when you need to save the day, and fast!
A song that demands not action, but reaction!
Think quick, strike hard and live strong.
'nuff said.
